Positive: Commodore offers a warm welcome where nothing is too much trouble. The two male staff on reception had great energy about them, as if they're born to work in hospitality. They generously offered to upgrade due to capacity, late checkout until 1pm (came with upgrade) and promptly supported via free shuttle to the airport. Thanks so much. Lovely poor and sauna area. Stunning view from the room. Enjoyable bath and shower with glass window looking into main bedroom with blind available if desired. Coffee machine and very clean. Perfect location for the airport. Bus stop outside with buses into CBD in 30mins - cash and card accepted. Would highly recommend. Other airport hotels nearby didn't tend to have same pool facilities. We enjoyed our stay, albeit brief.
Negative: We enjoyed it all, very professional. The only recommendation would be to offer USB ports by the beds and have the sockets higher. They were unusually low for a modern room, underneath the bedside table by the floor. Thankfully I have a 2m USB cable but if not, my phone would have been on charge under the table.
